Moving while fiance is in AP?

Has anyone moved while their fiance/husband was in AP?

I have recently moved and need to submit a change of address, but am worried that it will prolong the AP process if I submit new information. Also, how do I go about doing that? Do I submit the change of address to the embassy in Turkey or to USCIS? I am still in the same city, just moved apartments.

Thanks!

I have the same exact situation as you can see from my post:

I believe infroming USCIS is a good idea and yes, there is that thought that it may delay things. But what my husband saw the embassy telling people was to write out the new address on a piece of paper and bring it with them. Whether they want it or not is a different thing. Most people just go to the SS office to file for the card anyway, but we don't want any problems at POE with them asking what the address will be, etc. So I believe it is best to call USCIS and say you changed your address, and if you need to file the AR-11.

God bless,

It needs to be submitted directly to the consulate. I did this, and then when we got to the border, the officer asks you to confirm the address directly from the DS-230, not the update that the consulate has from you. . .it is then that you give him the address and he updates it. I moved three times during the process of AP and waivers, hubby's greencard came to us directly at home just by the process I outlined. . . .

I did write the consulate and make them CONFIRM they got our address update.
