Getting an early interview in London?

Thanks boohbah, I actually recieved packet 4 today giving me an interview date of September 5th, due to prior commitments I will have to reschedule but have to wait as its an English bank holiday today. Darn English

that one's actually been tried recently, and didn't work. But the person wanting the interview soon, because of travel commitments actually got a date that suited them fine anyway

oh my! can't believe someone did try it. lol

i'm satisfied with our interview date. As long as he gets his visa in a timely manner & we find decent airfare prices at the time of delivery...we'll be happy!

Sunnybear, can I ask you how you sent your pack 3 back before you received it? I asked the embassy if I could send mine in now and they said no [they did not have me on the system yet even though NVC sent my petition on 19 Aug, same as yours].

It has been nearly 6 weeks since my approval and this is driving me

No we ended up not sending it in yet as were too scared to jinx anything! So we are also still awaiting our Packet 3 to arrive...we are hoping for next week!!!

Yeah, yeah me too. The grumpy guy at the Embassy told me yesterday that I could send it now if I wanted but if it arrives before my file they will just send it back... He told me not to call again til Saturday (at which point he will have to concede that I reached the 6 week deadline he's been hiding behind). But he can get stuffed cos it's his job!

I think maybe our files were shipped together from NVC, they told me mine left on 19 August. Fingers crossed we get through soooooon!
