K-1 are non-immigrant fiance visas --- as Jackie said, you use the visa to get in the US, get married in the US and then Adjust Status to obtain a CR1. It is more expensive.

CR-1 are immigrant visas. You are married at the time of filing and you do not have to adjust status; only Removal of Conditions after 2 years of conditional residence.
