I looked tonight for the firdt time and recieved this e-mail. What does this mean. I just spoke with USCIS yesterday and they said my case was still pending and it just changed tonight.

Application Type: I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN

Current Status: DOCUMENT OTHER THAN CARD OR TRAVEL DOCUMENT MAILED TO APPLICANT

On June 25, 2008, your document I130, IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN was processed and mailed to the address on record. If you have not received it within 30 days of June 25, 2008, contact our customer service at 1-800-375-8283. If you move while your case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your address.

I'm not for use but that seems like some kind of RFE perhaps? Don't take my word for it...maybe someone else knows.

12-12-2013: Interview (Approved)
01-03-2014: Oath ceremony, passport application and passport received

It sounds like an RFE which means your case is being reviewed by an adjudicator, so as soon you send in the Requested evidence, they will adjucate your case. Good Luck to you.

Why don't you try calling the RFE line and tell them you are concern whether you are getting a RFE ?

If it's a RFE, looks like they forgot to generate a RFE notice to mail you since it's last updated in June!!

This is an RFE. To get more information about it before it arrives you can call the USCIS and press the option for the "request for more evidence". The rep should tell you what they are asking for in the document. Good luck.

If it's an RFE, that will probably work. It sounds more like an outright rejection to me. The email says they sent the I-130 to the address on record.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...
