called NVC for case #, said will take 2-4 weeks. is it true?

hi guys. as some of u know that i was approved on Aug. 15th from CSC. i didnt receive my approval notice yet in mail. but i called NVC today and talked to an operator. she asked me for my Receipt #, and i gave her my receipt #. she looked it up and said there is no information on my case now. she said, once i receive my approval notice, look at the date it was approved, and from that date, it will take 2-4 weeks for NVC to assign me a case number. is that true? when did u get Case # from NVC after it was approved?

no its not dont worry it usually takes a few days .... they say 2-4 weeks to anything!! lol

It takes about 1 week for most people, I called everyday to find out whether it has arrived and entered into NVC's system.:-)

I was approved on August 12 and told the same thing when I called yesterday...yet today the AVR says my case# was assigned yesterday, so it only took 4 business days after the actual approval.

For me it took 5 business days for my case to get the case number. Don't get upset with that msg, "it will 2-4 weeks once they receive," since that msg is most of the time misleading... You might get it some time around next week..

I was approved on Aug, 12 and was very hopefull that today AVR system will tell me that NVC case # is assigned..., but no, it was not received yet, although some people from CSC who got approved on the same date have their cases in NVS already...

I am worrying because we sent both 130 and 129 F, but my 130 got approved even before my 129F NOA1 was received. In fact it has not been received by now (sent on July 23). May be they holding off my approved 130 in CSC until 129F will join and gets approved???

Should I worry that I can't take CR1 path because we sent 129 F and clearly indicated that this is K3 case??
