For anyone that will , or are getting their CR-1 and CR-2 process at NVC. I was concerned because of the non-chronological way that USCIS processes petitions. As you may notice on my timelines below the differences dates of approvals for my Wife and Stepchild , so I called NVC and ask if my family will have different interviews dates and the answer was: " Wife and Child have different cases numbers but they know that they are in conjuction and once the cases are completed they will advise the consulate abroad" also for Choice of Agent for my Stepchild , my wife "Gurdian" have to sign on her behalf.

I hope this info will help anyone.

11-07-08 I called USCIS and placed an "Service request"

12-02-08 "Service Request" notice received

12-17-08 Interview letter received dated on 12-08-08

02-18-09 Interview date at 8:45AM
