They usually say AP until the visa is issued. Even if its at the consulate just waiting for them to review it. They also refer this as administrative processing.

Believe me, I know more about AP than I ever wanted to. I 'got the t-shirt :yes:

I'm just ready to see some more good news while we have some month-end/week-end momentum :star:

NVC:

2009-09-11 - NVC received.

2009-12-17 - Case complete e-mail message, sign in failed on website and AVR... YAY!

2009-12-17 - Waiting for an appointment assignment...

2009-12-29 - Interview assigned: February 11, 2010!

2010-01-06 - Case forwarded to consulate.

Consulate:

2010-01-12 - Medical exam part 1 of 2 complete.

2010-01-26 - Medical exam part 2 of 2 complete. Ouchie!

2010-02-11 - Interview results: Administrative Processing 221(g) :-(

2010-04-27 - 2nd interview results: Approved :-)

2010-05-04 - Visa in hand!

OMG!! I got an email from the consulate stating that he will be hearing from them very soon. Yay!!

Oh! That's exciting! Yahoo! It's all coming together now!

I didn't realize that NVC had anything to do with AP. I thought it goes: petition to USCIS who passes to NVC who passes to consulate (where you do your interview and they make final decision) who passes to DOS/Secret Agencies for AP(FBI/CIA/Homeland Security). I haven't tried calling the NVC...that may be another step??

Update :-

OK guys i just got an Email from the embassy .They asked me to provide them a new police record .I tried to call them several times to make sure but they did not answer the phone .I sent them an Email back and i asked them if they want me to send a new medical exam with the police record '' I told them its already expired '' .They sent me an Email back and they said '' Please provide us with the police certificate along with the medical examination '' if its already expired ''

So it sound like good news for me .At least i know that they are working on it and its not collecting dust on someone's desk .

But i really don't know if i did wrong by asking them about the medical exam .As a matter of fact i don't want to wait a few weeks till they call me or till they send me an Email when they will find out that i have to redo it .And i really don't want to redo it in USA cause its going to cost a lot of money .

Congratulation HOT GUY brother it mean they are ready to issue your visa and they just want new medical report and police certificate from u and after u send them these things they will issue ur visa and send it to you brother.
