Yes I hope so. I got confirmation from DOS that he should get his visa by the end of the month. Is this possible? I mean can they tell you exactly the timeframe.

yes they can tell by activity on your case. I would always call back a couple of days later to see if I was told the same thing or if they were telling me something just to make me feel better. Good Luck

Actually I called another number at DOS from their website. It was actually a gentlemen and he seemed to have more information then the regular visa specialists from the public inquiries number. But, that could be very well true I will try again a few weeks later. I will not believe it until he gets the visa. The waiting is the worst part.

Thank you for your quick response it gives me some assurance :). Lets hope that the coming weeks brings in good news for all of us.

I realised after my interview that they hadn't asked me to submit the passport photos...so I emailed them last Thursday, bringing it to their attention. Just got a reply - it ain't the photos, and I'm still in AP :(

It seems like visas are getting approved, but they are not being issued due to administrative processing. More and more people are being added to this list :(, but there has not been any visas issued recently. I hope that this dreaded AP ends soon. What could be the reason for every other male being put in AP?

Hi all waiting in AP,

I pray to GOD Almighty that we be more blessed to get Visa's soon.

Please add me to the list.

They took my PP and said your visa is approved and said we need to do some AP and gave me blue slip.

Thats not true. My wife has been in AP for 3 months now...but yes, most females dont have long APs

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope that she, and everyone else, is out of AP very soon.

Me again. Feeling frustrated. I know that all of us are subject to delays at any point during the application process, and it's par for the course. If I had been told that I was in AP at the interview it still would have been annoying, but it would have been easier to deal with. I walked away from the embassy thinking - great, it's over! For almost three weeks my husband and I started putting our plans into action. My trip to the States. Holidays. I was tying loose ends, closing accounts, packing stuff to be shipped, saying my goodbyes. People were affected by our decisions. And now it's all up in the air...

Here's hoping that we're all out of this limbo as soon as possible, all with approvals of course :)
