An update on my fiance's case....my fiance received his passport on February 4, 2010 with the visa alhamdulilah, he submitted the passport Jan 3 2010

I hope you all get out of AP soon insha'Allah, my prayers are all with you and to the ones who are out of AP congratulations and may you all have a speedy and successful journey after that.

Sorry for the AP and your fiancee's situation. My husband was in Iraq for the past 6 weeks on vacation he said everything is okay so hopefully the time will pass quickly for him and he will be safe. Good Luck

He went to baghdad? good lord i just saw your timeline your still in ap?Is your hubby from Iraq too.Its ok about AP we expected that just not all the other stuff at our interview.This whole journey has become one big nightmare that i hope one day has happy ending.Good luck ...Hope you get out of AP soon.Bridget

Yes my husband is from Iraq he is a student in Ukraine dont let my timeline worry you. he was officially In AP from 7/15/08 until 5/17/09 then his case was sent back to USCIS for what I dont know I think if they had a good reason they would have just denied the case and most people are given some kind of reason I have not been given any reason and they will not tell me until it is processed through USCIS. USCIS received the case 6/29/09 and I have heard nothing from them all I can say is surely the time is getting shorter. Hang in there.

My husband's visa was issued February 3rd. Visa in hand February 6th.

Flower's husband, also from Egypt, had an interview Aug 23, 2009 and visa was issued Feb.2, 2010 with visa in hand Feb. 8

Also with Nancy's husband getting the visa the 2nd of Feb. it appears that Cairo is on a role.
