you are in my prayers, insha'Allah you will get the visa soon

Thank you so much .Inshaallah you will hear good news soon .

Mohamed

Nothing's impossible . Nothing's unreachable .When I am weary you make me stronger

This love is beautiful .So unforgettable . I feel no winter cold when we are together .

Will you stand by me ?!!!Hold on and never let me go .

Will you stand by me?!! With you i know i belong . When the story gets told .

When day turns into night .I look into your eyes . I see my future now .All the world and its wonder

This love wont fade away. And through the hardest days . I will never question us .You are the reason my only reason.

I'm blessed to find what i need in a world loosing hope. you are my only believe .

You make things right every time after time.....

Will you stand by me ?!!!

I love you so much and i miss you so much more .

I'm right behind you HotGuy- our 9 month will be on the 15th- but who knows if they started the processing then? That was since the day of the interview.

Insha'Allah this airplane terror incident will have no effect on the issuing of visas. This makes me so nervous now!

Everyone- keep praying for good news- with enough of us praying for APs to go quick, we are bound to have some news soon insha'Allah!

Baj

Just a surprise update for me: Today marks 8 months of AP with no news. But, yesterday the embassy (in Bogota) called my gal and instructed her to go to this bank (Colpatria is the name of bank in Colombia) and pay to get a PIN, then call embassy and get another appiontment for a second "interview"- not sure what to expect the second time at the embassy. Anyone have to go back a second time? I'm not sure if one must always go back to the embassy if AP has ended? I thought they may just sometimes ask you to send your passport back for some embassies, and you don't have to make that second trip there? Not sure what to expect....

sounds like good things are in the process they might want another police report or medical report if they have expired before they issue the

visa call DOS they should be able to tell you something now that there has been some activity from the embassy. Sara or one of the older ladies that answer the phone around 4-5 will usually give useful information good luck

Good luck and don't give up! They finally called my girl and told her to make an appointment for second interview, which is going to be on Jan. 14th in Bogota, Colombia. I had a trip planned there from Jan. 9-18, so i will go- again! They called her one day shy of 8 months of AP. But, as Mohamed mentioned above, he also has seen a second interview- hell, and a home visit, with no news.... Good luck to all waiting- we will see what happen....

Wow Joe - 8 months in AP at the Consulate level? Did they ever tell you or your fiancee why you were placed in AP and what on earth took so long?

Best of luck for the second interview.

Al

Hey Al,

Thanks much. They don't divulge anything about the AP process- nada! It's anybody's guess as to what they are looking into, nor how long it will take. In our case, I am guessing that it was because she had a valid tourist visa and it was revoked when she went to ask for one for her son. I guess that is a huge "red flag." Also, she made many trips with that tourist visa to U.S., so who knows- they probably thought she was a drug runner or something! Something like that- a red flag- can set you back for months. AP is fairly "standard" for people that are coming from Middle Eastern Countries, as you can see from looking at the AP tracker. Not that many people from outside of the M.E., as you will notice....
