do some research on how other cases apply to you and you can use those as examples in your lawsuit.. I could have done it myself, just wanted to buy a name.. have you talked with the lawyers I had? www.rreeves.com they still charge a lot, but less than half of that.. and they did a good job for me too.. but seriously do some research by yourself and you can give more stories/examples of other cases that apply to you to the lawyers..

I am still waiting in AP, since April 29th. I did get a response back from an email I sent the embassy (in Colombia), last week:

We have been on "Administrative Process" for more than 2 1/2 months now... Is there ANY information I can please get as to what is happening with our case??? Last Wednesday (July 1st) I was able to get thru and speak to someone there about our case, and they mentioned you have received one piece of information, but are still waiting for a second item, regarding our AP?

While I have tried to be patient with this long process, the AP wait has been most painful for my fiancee and I... Can someone please take a look at our file?

So, I don't know- of course I would like to know exactly what they are requesting and from what agency- U.S. or Colombia.... anything at all, but I guess that is not possible. I know that AP can take several months from Middle Eastern countries, but it seems like all the other VJ members from Colombia that were in AP, got the green light in less than 2 months.... who knows.....

11/17/2008 - Received NOA1 hard copy in the mail

1/23/2009 - Received email stating I was approved (NOA2) on 1/22/2009

1/26/2009 - Recieved NOA2 hard copy in the mail

4/29/2009 - Embassy interview date - was put into AP (given a form with 221(g) box checked)

12/25/2009 - Still stuck in AP- almost 8 MONTHS and counting... :(

12/28/2009 - Embassy finally called my gal for another "interview"

1/14/2010 - VISA APPROVED at the second interview- took about 8 1/2 months of AP

1/21/2010 - Visa delivered by courier- BUT, she opened sealed envelope that was for U.S. Immigration at POE.

Now embassy in Bogota wants us to do the medicals all over again.... nightmare continues.....

2/22/2010 - She went back to Bogota to get labs and medical re-done. Then back to embassy where they finally

re-issued the visa. Is valid until July 13th

7/3/2010 - She made it to the U.S. finally!!! I filed on November 11th 2008 and went thru 8 1/2 months of AP

AOS

12/16/2010 - Sent in packet by Fed Ex to Chicago

1/7/2011 - Notified by email from USCIS packet was received

1/25/2011 - Notified by email we are receiving an RFE

2/4/2011 - Sent translated birth cert in (RFE)

2/9/2011 - Biometrics done

3/1/2011 - EAD/AP card received

have you tried talking to Mr. DD about it? That's what I did and found out why.. she had the same name as someone else who applied, and they thought she was already married.. that's why it took so long for us.. that's what he told us in his reply email.. so then I kept on bugging him and he finally said he will talk with State Dept about our case and that his office thought that there was no reason for denying our case..

have you tried talking to Mr. DD about it? That's what I did and found out why.. she had the same name as someone else who applied, and they thought she was already married.. that's why it took so long for us.. that's what he told us in his reply email.. so then I kept on bugging him and he finally said he will talk with State Dept about our case and that his office thought that there was no reason for denying our case..

who is Mr. DD?

wrote hundreds of letters - received letter from FBI Records Management Chief stating no security checks
local office interview : 2/21/2008 - brought my parents too (result : you will get approval within 2-3 weeks)
5/2/2008 - (lawsuit) Writ of Mandamus - OFFICIAL DATE (7/29/2008)
9/22/2008 - CALL AND EMAIL COPY OF APPROVAL NOTICE FROM LAWYER

NVC STAGE 2 : 99 days - 3 months (9/30/2008 to 1/7/2009)
NVC Received : 9/30/2008
Received Packet 3 (I-864/DS-230) : 11/10/2008
NVC says "RFE sent out 12/9/08 for missing documents" : 12/10/2008
CASE COMPLETE - 1/7/2009

CONSULATE STAGE 3 : 96 days - 3 months (1/8/2009 to 4/14/2009)
CLEARED CUSTOMS - 3/10/2009

"Ready for Interview" (Ready to wait for 1-3 Months, this is official NVC letter transfer date) : 9/9/2013

DHL Tracking : arrived 9/24/2013

P4 Letter : 11/21/2013

Interview Date : 12/9/2013, originally 12/3, stupid lawyer filled out her dad's passport number wrong..

Interview Passed : 12/9/2013

Visa "Issued" on CEAC : 12/10/2013

11/11/2008 - I-129F Sent

11/13/2008 - I-129F NOA1 issue date

11/17/2008 - Received NOA1 hard copy in the mail

1/23/2009 - Received email stating I was approved (NOA2) on 1/22/2009

1/26/2009 - Recieved NOA2 hard copy in the mail

4/29/2009 - Embassy interview date - was put into AP (given a form with 221(g) box checked)

12/25/2009 - Still stuck in AP- almost 8 MONTHS and counting... :(

12/28/2009 - Embassy finally called my gal for another "interview"

1/14/2010 - VISA APPROVED at the second interview- took about 8 1/2 months of AP

1/21/2010 - Visa delivered by courier- BUT, she opened sealed envelope that was for U.S. Immigration at POE.

Now embassy in Bogota wants us to do the medicals all over again.... nightmare continues.....

2/22/2010 - She went back to Bogota to get labs and medical re-done. Then back to embassy where they finally

re-issued the visa. Is valid until July 13th

7/3/2010 - She made it to the U.S. finally!!! I filed on November 11th 2008 and went thru 8 1/2 months of AP

AOS

12/16/2010 - Sent in packet by Fed Ex to Chicago

1/7/2011 - Notified by email from USCIS packet was received

1/25/2011 - Notified by email we are receiving an RFE

2/4/2011 - Sent translated birth cert in (RFE)

2/9/2011 - Biometrics done

3/1/2011 - EAD/AP card received
