Hi All,

I have my IR1 interview on 23rd July at Islamabad embassy. After reading all your posts, I am mentally prepared for a long AP.

A) Because Islamabad embassy is putting all males on AP.

B) Because of my frequent travel to Europe, Middle East and Africa (4 trips to Middle East in last 4 months!).

One thing I am worried about is that trips to Middle East and Africa will have to continue while I am on AP due to the nature of my job. What are the chances of AP starting all over again due to additional foriegn trips? With my current job, this can go on forever!!

Has anyone had a similar experience??

Dear if u will go abroad during ur AP, then definately ur AP would be longer. However it would be best in ur interest if u will abstain to travel during AP.

Note!Whenever u will give ur interview mention this to CO.

Best of luck!

I am wondering this same thing. Do they send ALL AP cases to Washington?

I am confused whether my fiance is on AP or not. For the past 27 days, we have been waiting on his visa printing and issuance. He was issued a 221g for his passport as he did not have it at the time of his interview back in May so he sent in his passport as soon as he was able to, which was back in June, and we keep calling DOS as to why the visa has not been issued yet, and they say that "It is undergoing admin processing at the embassy" and they keep saying it is at the embassy in London, and that is is not in Washington and not in background or security checks. So should we take this to mean that his case is undergoing admin processing at the embassy level? And what does that mean? What kind of admin processing takes place strictly at the embassy level?

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)

$12000 is too expensive..

http://www.visalaw.com/05feb3/2feb305.html

http://www.ailf.org/lac/pa/lac_pa_081505.pdf

do some research on how other cases apply to you and you can use those as examples in your lawsuit.. I could have done it myself, just wanted to buy a name.. have you talked with the lawyers I had? www.rreeves.com they still charge a lot, but less than half of that.. and they did a good job for me too.. but seriously do some research by yourself and you can give more stories/examples of other cases that apply to you to the lawyers..

How to apply:

(2nd post and from then on.. I would read the whole thing if you have time.. lots of good examples of others doing it)
