today i called my congrassman office and the lady who handles our case told me if AP takes more than 6 months that mean something wrong ,it made me lose hope and give up for time been and prepare my self for another 10 month or more in AP so i decided to go and vist my husband end of may in pakistan and stay there for a month.

3/24/2006...got married

6/26/2006...I-130 sent to uscia

9/4/2007 ...I-130 aproved

9/4/2007....NVC recieved

8/4/2008...NVC completed

8/4/2008...case sent to USE/Islamabad

9/16/2008....interview date/put in AP

3/16/2009 .... 6 months of AP

4/16/2009.......7 months in AP

5/16/2009........8 months in AP

6/16/2009.........9 months in AP

6/15/2009.... visa issued

7/30/2009....visa in hand

POE 8/4/2009 Washington /dulles airport

8/28/2009....GC received/10 years validity

My congressman's representative told me the same thing a few months ago when I called too. But what is wrong? And can we find out? Can they find out? Jeez!

I have come to the conclusion that when people dont have the answer they say anything even if its wrong I am hoping that this is the case with the people you spoke with I received and Email from the Embassy about 2 weeks ago telling me that there would be no reason to place him under AP if they didnt intend on issuing the visa I am trying to think positive these days. Its been a hard long 9 months and I am trying to think that the worst is behind us and we are on the short path now. My husband wants me to go to Ukraine in June but I am not going because I am hoping he will be here I have the worst scenario

1- he is Muslim

2- he is from Iraq

3- he has traveled to other countries (the middle east and Europe)

4 he has money in banks in several countries

5 he is an Engineer

and yes I am thinking positive
