I thought you said you were in AP??? AP is just that. Why are you worrying? Yes it sucks and is frustrating, but it is what is is AP. You are not denied. did someone say grasping at straws. I would say grasping at swords, because you are making this more difficult then it realy needs to be.

Ok guys its me again .

I have a question for you .

Well I called DOS to ask them if my case stills in Cairo or they sent it back to USA .

I found out that it stills in Cairo and a friend of my who had his interview before me asked them if his case still in Cairo or they sent it back to USA they said yeah they did and they sent it back to USA .

someone told me its a good sign cause they didn't send it back to USA . cause when they send it back to USA it might take long time maybe 3-4months .

so i want to know your opinion about that guys .

Thank you so much .

Hello all--found this forum last night, and hope to pull from your positive energy and to help support you all, too! My fiancee was interviewed in Casablanca on March 30th. The interview went VERY well, they took his passport, and said they'd call when the visa was ready. He is in AP--we've called the consulate in Casa and the DOS several times a week and just continue to received the same answer: "There is no problem. We don't need anything from you. This is normal. We will call you as soon as possible." When I called DOS on Tuesday, the woman told me to call on Friday to see if there are any updates--so, I will call Friday and then continue to call weekly :)

A question for you all: my fiancee was in the US on a J-1--he was subject to the 2-year residency rule so we had to get a J-1 waiver before being able to apply for the K-1. Is there anyone else out there who went through this same thing? In our process of trying to "guess" what is going on with his case, we wonder if there are extra steps in the AP since he previously had a J-1.

"Often, we move through life in a relatively unconscious way until some big event happens: a high...or a low...Slowing down your practice--and your consciousness--to be especially attentive to those "transitional spaces" leads you to inhabit yourself more fully, to become more aware of your experience in the in-between moments rather than in just those moments when a milestone grabs your attention." Oooh, I had my interview on the 30th March, too! Regarding the J-1 point, I'm afraid I don't know very much about it...

But I would like to ask -- for those who were removed from AP, did you receive an email or did the consulate call you? You can imagine that I've been pretty anxious to hear from them...

Out of Morocco, I know they call. I'd be curious to know about other countries, too!

Oh, that March 30th date!!! Hang in there--I look forward to hearing your good news soon :)

Thank you :: hug ::. I'm just trying to keep busy. I'm just really worried because my final year university exams are coming up and I was hoping to have got shipping and such out of the way before then. My deadline is more or less the 1st June to leave -- I want to take my cat with me in the cabin and I know that takes a month-ahead booking or something like that. After the 1st, my Bean can no longer stay in the boarding cattery where I visit him...and then after the 12th, I'm going to be booted out of my accommodation so I'll have nowhere to go. I don't want to impose on friends, especially if I have my kitty with me. I also have to have Bean's medical checkups for the flight two to three weeks before departure so there's a lot to do...my head just wants to go POP thinking about it!

Oh gosh, I understand the pain!!! It is so frustrating when you have made plans and have ideas in mind! My head wants to POP, too just thinking about all of the issues and timing! Such a mess! My parents, brother and brother's GF bought tickets to come to Pennsylvania next weekend because we thought that Brahim and I would be getting married that weekend :( It's so sad. I guess it's our fault for buying tickets and thinking we had control over things--silly us!!!

Wait, is Bean already in a crate boarding??

You see, I had some domestic issues that led me to move out in late November...my kitty can't stay with me in university accommodation so I put him in a really lovely boarding cattery. I visit him weekly because we miss each other a lot, and I don't want him to ever think I've abandoned him.

^ My Bean. He's been a trooper in all of this and we both would love to get to the US as soon as possible. When Knight came visiting and first met Bean, they fell in love with each other so I have no worries about that kitty being shy around him. :( We're an incomplete little family without each other.

YAY for good news and positive energy :) Here's to hoping it's contagious!
