Welcome to AP... Ours was complete but they wanted a document showing my child support/household by a clear letter... so we had to resubmit that but after july 25 they startred the name checks so we sit and wait :( we will pray for you and pls pray for us too... my bday is monday and our anniversary is a week away... this is the most difficult part of the whole process to be so close you can see the end but it's not moving towards u..

But EAbbas CO gave me two sheets whats this mean and both sheets indicate Administrative Processing...but the end he told me that now a days Administrative Processing complete within one month and your case is fine and we need nothing from you...

My husband has been in AR/AP 10 months. I called DOS today and the lady put me on hold and took forever to come back to the phone. I thought maybe there was an update with our case but it was that her computer was slow so my husband is still in AP.

Islamabad is known for long AP's. If you get out in 3 to 6 months you are really blessed and should be thanking God. They say that 99% of men in Pakistan get AP. I want to know how do they decide who gets AP and who doesn't. Islamabad embassy does not seem to be answering emails these days. They ignore mine so I got my Senator involved. They are ignoring her emails too but her office said they can contact the State Department to try and get information from the embassy. I will update you guys on what happens with the Senator's office.

Hello,

I just wanted to note that my husband (then fiance) was approved for his k1 visa on 11/30/2010. I forgot to add it here, so that it could be added to the spreadsheet. He had his interview 8/17/10. He is Male, and from Algeria. Is there a way for me to add this on my own ? I tried, but had no luck. Thanks! Good luck to everyone still waiting!

We;re actually using an older thread and I think the person who originally did the spread sheet is already moved to US and doesn't participate any longer .. (not sure... but haven't seen them on here) ...LOL we're just keeping eachother up to date ;)

we spouse had interview on 14 July 2011. The CO gave us blue sheet and asked for proof of on going relationship. After we submitted documentations, i found out that our case is under AP since the interview. Now they kept the passport and gave us a token. Every time i call DOS they said the case is still pending AP, havent heard anything else. This long wait time is painful, they should do the AP thing before the interview not after.
