well it's official the embassy returned our petition to USCIS. I am sitting at my desk at work bawling. i guess nothing is going to get done today. I am so disgusted with this system.

So the reason cited is 221(g) and "based on indications that petition {number} contains inaccurate information"

with (of course) no additional information. His visa was stamped "Cancelled without prejudice", that's the "good" news. ha ha.

so i guess the question is... what do we do now?? Is it true that USCIS never reaffirms I-129Fs, they just send notice that it's expired?

And how do we find out what they considered "inaccurate information"??? there is that issue with the address that we forgot to list on his last 5 years history (he was registered there and it was technically a permanent address but he never lived there or even actually saw the place), but how can we be sure that's it? or that's the only thing?

Can we do FOIA? how long does it take?

If we get married and do the I-130, we would be filling in basically the exact same information except that one little address thing. Would they have really done this to us because of that??? His mom explained about the address when they called her....

i hate hate hate hate hate this. anyway, this is my coping mechanism i am alternating between crying/exploding with anger while obsessively researching. must. figure. out. what. to. do!!!

please help...

we are in the same boat my frined my passport also stamped cancled without prejduice after the visa assued ,

but the diff is i got it like this from the embassy with a letter said they dont belive n our relation ( the 1 which prepred before for alot of people they just put your name lol ) , and the case got sent back ?????!!!!!! even after the councler tell me im approved

but i need you to help me ok please : how did you find out it was they fault ??? , and did you think they can fix our suitation in usa office after our case got returined ? or they let it expire ????

i tell you what i do after this and you tell me your experince ok :

we call the embassy they said its already approved and after 3 weeks we got it with cancled without prejudice and a letter state that embassy dont belive in our relation and the case got sent back for review ???

we contact the sentor he make inquirey for us and the answer was : that im the ( non america ) cant show a bonafide relationship with my fiancee , which it was alie cuse me and my fiancee was at the interview and the co told us congrats you are approve !!!!

after that we go to the embassy me and my fiancce the next day they said its got sent for further review , and nobody realy help us , and they said we should contact the nvc about it cuse its n its way to nvc , after that it takes 15 days to be in nvc and it stay there for 1 mounth and after this it go to uscis since 08-18-2010

touched in 09-18-2010

touched again 10-14-2010

but after this until now no further action and we call they said after 120 days we should here something

what you advice us , and hope you help me and tell me what happend with you after this cuse i see that you refile ? , why you refile and when you know that it was they fault ??? , for you its not fair for them to do you like this if it was they fault , god help you and me

We have been in mandatory AP processing since October of 2007. That's 3 years and 2 months. I am running on empty trying to find solutions to this!! We were approved for the hardship waiver in may of 2007 from Athens, then they lost the file for 4 months, finally we were put in mandatory administrative processing. I call and email the jordan embassy and the state department and get no answers! does anyone know if we have any other options due to the length of time this has taken?

just wanted to check in with all of you on ap and those of you who finally got your loved one home ...congratulations...since appying in aug. 2009 our case was denied at the embassey and returned (129f).I guess in march i will fly to lebanon to be married and try to refile. This has been a long learning process and we still have many months to go. Our jouney has been a long one but in this journey we have learned to lean on each other and take things day at a time. we will be together in time. each day passes ,is one more i lose with the one i love . but i have come to believe that god has set us on this path and we must travel it and endure to be together. each step is not one day lost but one day closer to the day we will be home together at last. this has not torn us apart but brought us closer as a couple and made our love stronger. If i live my whole life running between to countrys to be with this man i love so much ,i will count each day a blessing i had with him. good luck to you all. i pray each of you find your happiness....

I am pulling this out of my #######... but why not have the US Citizen in your case, call the DOS Ombudsman and have a chat? If that doesn't work, send a copy of the hardship approval document or notification and a very short letter to Hillary Clinton, and whomever is next in command to her, it might get some attention. Or, alternately ask your Senators office to contact State for you. You can also "copy" the highest level official at that Embassy in also State Department, maybe the Ambassador.. just be nice, but concerned in tone.

Its been 1 month since we've been in AP, I know thats not long compared to some people here, but givin the situation right now in Egypt who knows when it will be over. I've called DOS hoping for some updates and they've told me that if its name checks in Washington they will continue to do so but the visa will not be issued until the embassy reopens. However they will not tell me what exactly is being done. I have read on here before were people have found out if the AP was at the embassy or in name checks, etc... How do I find out what is going on with my case? I almost feel like while this is going on in egypt my case is sitting some place collectiong dust!!

Thanks for any help
