hopefully, we both hear a good news soon. it is a very long journey but from my side i can't do anything for my fiancee.

Congressmans office called me today.. she needs to take some documents to them that expired and we should get the visa in a couple of weeks...

For my fiancee, they interview her at her house and investigate neighbor and taking picture. So more waiting...:(

LOL he was coming 9-11 but I didnt think that was a good time to fly so we are looking at 9/16 so if he gets here Thursday he can rest Friday and then we have the whole weekend. I think his POE will be easy my son is interpreter in customs so he will be with him.

He must be on the gound by now! I remember my 8 1/2 months of AP and you've been through a lot more that that! This thread you started sure helped me through it!

4/29/2009 - Embassy interview date - was put into AP (given a form with 221(g) box checked)

12/25/2009 - Still stuck in AP- almost 8 MONTHS and counting... :(

12/28/2009 - Embassy finally called my gal for another "interview"

1/14/2010 - VISA APPROVED at the second interview- took about 8 1/2 months of AP

1/21/2010 - Visa delivered by courier- BUT, she opened sealed envelope that was for U.S. Immigration at POE.

Now embassy in Bogota wants us to do the medicals all over again.... nightmare continues.....

2/22/2010 - She went back to Bogota to get labs and medical re-done. Then back to embassy where they finally

re-issued the visa. Is valid until July 13th

7/3/2010 - She made it to the U.S. finally!!! I filed on November 11th 2008 and went thru 8 1/2 months of AP

12/16/2010 - Sent in packet by Fed Ex to Chicago

1/7/2011 - Notified by email from USCIS packet was received

1/25/2011 - Notified by email we are receiving an RFE

2/4/2011 - Sent translated birth cert in (RFE)

I have a good news to report here. This afternoon I received a call from Embassy they asked me to send DS230 form again and new police certificate and that they will issue my visa accordingly. I will send them these docs again and Inshallah visa wil be received soon. Please pray for me.

My iterview was on 24rd March 2010 at US Embassy Islamabad. F3 category.

Hey guys, Called the consulate today a lady told me that his visa was issued a week ago and my husband's package is waiting to be picked up @ Juarez DHL service...

:D:lol::luv: i'm @ work going totally crazyyyyyyyyyyyyy but I don't care!!!

:blush: I'm still sending out good prayers for those still waiting. god bless guys

Interview date:JULY 2, 2010 (consul said my husband was approved):)

Extra steps: Turns out in Juarez they do not tell you the final result of interview on the spot, you have to wait to receive a DHL package that contains the verdict and passport hopefully. Even though my husband was "approved" during interview (per consul answer) he was placed in Administrative Review on JUly 6 according to consulate operator.

Placed on AR post interview:07/06/2010

Picked up Blue slip AR (they kept his passport):7/09/2010

Visa issued: 09/15/2010

I was in AP for 2 months, 2 weeks and 2 days

Completed my journey in 10 months, 2 weeks and 2 days

I just wanted to add my name to the list for AP/AR. We are in Admin Review, because they are unsure of a bonafide relationship. My fiance is from Algeria, and his interview was on 8/17/2010.
