Lostinlove03 and Amit-N-MelodyI think you both could think of a few more intimate things to spice up the homecoming ........ Lostinlove03 tonight will be a long night but get some rest tomorrow will be a very long day Im sure you have a ton of catching up on and thanks for all the good wishes To all the good people on VJ Im very sad to say I dont have good news. I feel like Im sinking down into a dark pool of water but just to let you know Im not exactly drowning yet. My husband went to the Embassy with all the requested papers and photos. He was interviewed again like it was the first time the interviewer didnt realize this was a reaffirmed case. At any rate she asked for a signed I-864 in blue ink by me. Now I have to send him this piece of paper by FEDex at the cost of $157.00 and he has to ride a train for 10 hours to put this paper in a drop box at the Embassy. The sad thing is we all know they have the signed I-864. So now I am wondering as always Whatznext. However after I got this piece of info I called DOS to see what they said. She said he had his interview so what exactly do you want to know. I explained the I-864 she sad she understood my point that they have to have it but that is the info the Embassy is requesting at this time. It disgusting to think we have such incompetent people working at the Embassy. Anyway bottom line is no visa yet Kevbev09 congratulations LOL I guess some Embassys are better than others Keep us posted on the date the visa is issued.Amit-N-Melody I might have missed it but do you have a arrival date for your husband yet???????

OOOO I have several more "spicey" things planned

I am so sorry that you didnt have instant wonderful news... what a bummer :( But... I honestly think that you will have the visa in hand soon <keeping positive thoughts> ... I have read on several different occasions that after the forms were requested and sent back in that they issued the visa soon after it... I pray that this is in your case also

Yes!!!!! Yess yess yess I do have an arrival date!! Sept 1st he will be here in America... but due to some flight delays he wont be in my arms until the 2nd!!!! 8 more days!!!

Add us to the list... mandatory administrative processing at our interview yesterday.

We were told it was being sent to Washington DC. I think this means background checks... am I right?

The CO said our paperwork was perfect... which I guess is a good thing!

And I am trying to be strong, but it will be very hard to fly hime without my husband in a couple weeks.

I feel emotionally and mentally drained.

Hmm well I called DoS again just now, it's been almost a week since we got the email from the senator. I got a slightly different response from DoS, she basically said "it still shows as processing but it looks like everything has been completed and returned to the embassy, everything's in order and we're just waiting for a print date". She also told me to call back early next week if I hadn't heard anything yet.. which they've never done before. Sounds good but I want my visa TODAY.. lol.

Guys,

Some of you knew that we are in "Administrative Review" at Delhi embassy since 20th July (interview date).

She was told to submit some more and papers she was carrying through VFS offices. There is one thing we are missing her voter ID card that is under process to be made (that has to made for her married address, that is my address in India).

I just want to update you all... this is very stressful. I know you all knew it.

Happy waiting :star: :star: :star: :star: :star:

Just came in to check on everyone. I see not many off AP yet. I am praying for each of you still. Our case has not been returned as of yet. I have requested a senoir officer or the consulate review it and allow us to send whatever evidence we might have to the contrary. The dos still says we are on ap. hahaha ,after almost two most since we get a letter stating we are denied. Hopefully the consulate will review our case.

Hello everyone!

I am sorry I have not been frequently on so much. I come by and check on everyones progress, we

got married end of July, but have not applied for AOS yet. Planning on getting started this week

I just am so over all the paperwork that I am just happy my husband is here now. Anyways, all

of you are in my prayers and this AP will end. This AP is torture and I can understand the pain.

It will end, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel it just takes a bit longer ok.

Hey Bridget and yes you are still on AP until you submit your evidence and / or file your appeal and the case is processed or closed I know you wont give up and you will get through this its just a big hurdle that takes time to jump over it but you will. I got an email from someone else today and their case was reaffirmed so hang it there.

And no new news for us as usual the Ukraine Embassy was closed tuesday another holiday and they will be closed friday so I see nothing changing for us in the near future LOL and then they will be closed for labor day

I really hope the AP is fast. We sat at USCIS for 5 months while most went thru in 3 months. The only RFE we got was because I did not send the original marriage contract to NVC.

Then after the CO interviewed us, we faced separate interviews from DOS and homeland security. It was terrible! The 2nd CO took all Moh's brothers and sisters names and told us it was going back to Washington DC for AP. He said most AP was taking 4-6 weeks but I don't know if I put much faith in that. He told us our papers were perfect and no one ever asked to see any of the 30 pounds of evidence of our relationship I brought with me. They never even asked for extra pictures and I had a scrapbook prepared just for this!

After my husbands interview, they also asked for all his siblings names and b-days. That was in January we still are waiting.I hope they are correct on how long it will take for your AP !

Good luck !

I am sorry you are going thru this. From what I have read, Pakistan must be really hard to get thru.

I see you are in South Dakota. My sister lives there... in Wessington Springs!
