Hello fellow AP'ers... can you add me to your list? Our case is a little bit weird:

Moscow embassy

Interview date: Jan 11, 2010

Result: Approved, visa issued Jan 13/14 (?) and mailed to my fiance

Embassy called to ask to return passport Feb 5, 2010.

Passport returned Feb 9, 2010

ADMINISTRATIVE REVIEW will be 6 months on August 9....

As usual, we have no idea why or what is going on. They originally told us they had to correct an error with an internal number - implied it was a simple typo correction. It took multiple e-mails from myself and our lawyers for them to even tell us (by form e-mail) we were in administrative review.

The interview went perfectly with no problems (just 3-4 friendly questions and they didn't even look at most of our evidence). Congressman's first two inquiries got form responses; 3rd inquiry was simply ignored. My first two e-mails got form responses, latest e-mails were completely ignored. They haven't asked for any information or documents. The only activity was that on May 14 (day 95 of admin review), they called his parents. Asked questions about previous/current address, our relationship (me and him), and his ex-wife. Since then - DEAD silence.

Anyway, that's the highlights to date...

It's sad to see such a large group of others in AP here, as well... but at least it's a small comfort to know we're not alone.

The only thing I can guess that happened is that an interviewer approved the petition without the consulars approval. I am sure that is what happened in m husbands case although the visa was issued the interviewer took his money told him everything is ok he left and when the visa never came I called and was told the consular had the case on his desk. I added you to the tracker I hope you dont have a long wait good luck

thanks! I guess that could be it... just goes to show how subjective it is, one person thinks our case is crystal-clear, and another sees some kind of issues that require AP. bummer it was apparently the higher-up who wanted the AP *sigh* ... good luck with your second interview Whatznext!
