hey VJ memebers ,

today i tried to post new thread regarding how the AP effecting us and our loved one ,somehow the topic was not posted,therefore i thought i should just jump in here and have that posted here,,

ok let me start with my own ,,lately AP has realy effected my relation with my husband ,i m very depressed and soo moody with my dear husband who is my entire world,,things we never said to each other now days we do,,

anyone gone through such time during AP if so please share them with me and advice me how did u manage to keep ur relation as lovely as before

I am also in AP since 10/11/2008 and this is a dark hole.Its very difficult to be patience and happy in this period but all we can do is just wait wit and wait.

And speacially in my condition when my wife is seriously sick we really need each other very much.Whenever she calls me she just asks me that when you are going to get your visa ,when u r coming?

Just imagine now she just think abt me to come there.I try really very hard to give her patience try to become very loving n polite even i m in mush worse condition.I cannot even do my business all day all time i just try to relax myself.

Speacially when i think she is serious she needs me then it becomes me more more frustrated but i never show this infront of her.Coz i beleive that if i will do act like this then she will loose her hope.

So sister!

Just try to be calm and try to busy in other activities its very difficult but beleive me it will work.One more thing which is that if u r sad and feeling alone,moody then just think ur husband would be the same.

Try to be loving ,nice and polite and do some activity.

I hear you! I am in the same boat. We have been in AP since June 24, 2008. I am doing the same--saying things I never would have dreamt of saying, thinking thoughts I never would have thought. It is like we are going through everything wrong with a relationship in a matter of months and in the first years of our marriage. I don't know how to advise you, because what can you do to occupy your time when you are consumed by wondering? Just know that there are others who share your utter frustration and problems here.

Isn't this what marriage is about, holding fast when the road is rocky! ?

I say use this period as a 'learning' experience and practice patience. Life comes at you fast and there will be ups and downs in marriage, and that is how a couple learn about each other and grow .... make this a means to water your love.

This AP is not o your fault, not his fault, the embassy doesn't hate us ... it's no1's fault. There is a time for everything!

I am sure God will reward us for this wait and soon we all will have our 'happily ever after'

i hope ur husband as cool as mine and does not mind when the frastration dumped on him,,my husband as been soo pateint though i know he is as stressed as me but not showing just to keep me strong,,

I have been in shock for the last week. I am mostly together at the moment. I was told at the interview I was approved pending the supply of my Australian Police Check. I supplied it and then somehow ended up in AP.

Have got the lawyer and congressman in on it, but I am now in a holding pattern. No job, got made redundant after I came back from the US in the New Year (I work in finance). Can't get a new job in the meantime as the USE London has my passport. Can't go anywhere don't have a passport. I'm an Aussie stuck in the UK in a weird limbo.

That's how it is on my SO's case, you been approved however no VISa until we receive a letter of explanation from the NBI Philippines.

AP is the hell of time in the whole process of immigration and indeed the hardest down down in relation,

lets keep eachother strong and hold hands during this separation from our loved one

I don't discuss AP very often it is the worst thing I have ever been through I am a planner and the unknown date is like a knife stabbing me all day long If they would just give me a date any date I think I could except that and look forward to that date. I bought a new home for me and my husband in July and I still haven't moved into it. I find it to upsetting. I thought it would be a happy day us moving together into a new home. But things haven't worked out that way. LOL maybe soon

I can related to this, Divorced, I am such a planner too! I planned for my husband's arrival last year after his interview. Got everything ready, and looked forward to being together, and now it seems like such a joke. It is very difficult not having any control over such a major part of your life.

i swear ,u just said what i was not able to figgure out what bothers me and making me so stressed in this AP ,i can wait years for my husband my date must be planed,i was thinking and soo sure that he will be here after his interview ,i got new appartment, and soo many bills added thinking that we will have better place to start our lovely life togather,now i m drowned in to soo many bills and suck expensive apartment my bills are crazy high ....the leas of this apartment about to end and he stil in AP ,i cant save apeny imagin over 4000$ bills , due to bad ecanamy i cant quit my job and go live with him ,what if we come back and we both could not find a job soon,,i m telling u things are soo not in place ,i dont know what to do ,,,,i m on yahoo with himright now just pray for me that we dont blast again..
