OK Guys just wanted to let u all know that I am in U-S-A now Its been 8 Days i am in U-S-A my port of entry was bad experience . I had a connecting flight and when i reached to Washington D.C i waited in Immigration Line and where he only asked me for my marriage date thats all he returned me the yellow packet opened and sent me to pick up my luggage and told me that i have to deal with Customs and Border Protection officers after that , i reached there picked up my luggage there was a line where people were going a woman was checking all the people forms that they filled in the plane and she was clearing everyone when she looked on my form 1-194 that i filled in the plane she said oh ur Pakistani u need to go this room ,this is where they made me miss my flight , they took my passport and visa packet in a room and i was waiting in the lounge i been waiting for them 3 hours , other people who were coming there after me they were being cleared in just 15 mins but i was still waiting there and my flight was in next 3 hours 15 mins and suddenly an officer came out oc the cabin he told me ur next flight will leave in 20 mins u can go now, i knew i could not go sit in the plane i was just new in U-S-A and airport so i ran from there for my plane but i missed my connecting flight . and right that time my wife was waiting at my destination for me , my poor wifey, so i bought me a 10 Dollars card and called my wife i missed my flight and i got another flight that was going to my destination next morning so i had to wait day and night in the airport .next morning i did not wanted to miss my other flight too so i reacher on the same gate 4 hours before the flight and this time i did not miss flight. now i am in Florida here people are nice and good weather is also good .

i was in AP for 8 months thats why i can understand the pain of all those in AP i also had heart attack because of AP but now i know that AP process is good for the safety of America its also good that they check persons papers deeper at the airport its for the safety of America and yes offcourse my safety as well.

Is this a guy at DOS? If so, two thumbs up, Chris! Wish there were more like him. I've never understood why it has to be so agonizing. A little compassion goes a long, long way.

Chris is awesome! I made friends with him 2 weeks ago. Now, he knows me by my voice...lol how sad....eh? He answeres all your questions and doesn't rush and doesn't raise his voice if you ask the same thing over and over again (which I do). lol

The lady whose name is Hope---she yells if you ask her any sort of questions. And, there is a young girl her name is Katie or Christi can't remember but she is very sweet as well.

Alright guys, good weekend---may we all hear good news soon!! : )

I have to tell you, this process has made me a lot more patient with our own clients. I work at a law firm, where people call all the time for a status on their cases. Before the immigration nightmare set in, I have to admit that I had little patience for it. Now, I have a new understanding and I try to be compassionate and patient with each client, no matter how many times they call. I'm sure they don't want to be calling me all the time either, but they do it because they are worried about something in their lives and they are looking to me to help them.

Guess that's only one of the lessons this mess has taught me.

I have some good news to give people hope that AP does end! After being in AP for exactly one month to the day, my fiance got his visa. His flight to the U.S. is on Wednesday. We never found out what the exact issue was that put us in A.P. but frankly we aren't questioning and are just happy to have the visa. I think Morocco must be moving quicker these days because I had heard it takes on average 4 months. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for everyone else who is waiting.
