After 10 months of AP it was returned to USCIS because the CO thought we married for immigration purposes. However what I don't understand is that after the interview the visa was approved and he paid the money and left his passport only after the visa never came and I contacted the Embassy I was told it was under adminstrative review which would take less than a month unless they decided to place it under AP which would take a long time. This info was given to me over the phone by an aide who checked with the CO. Even funnier I was told in April 2009 by an email from the embassy that they could determine the lenght of AP but if they didnt intend on issuing the visa they would not be doing the AP and in May 2009 it was returned to USCIS go figure

Wow that sucks. there so dumb sometimes realy lol, i know that my husband is in AP cuz of his name cuz so many people who are "BAD" have his name. bet you can gusse what his name is lol

Wow that sucks.

I have a question If a relative of my husband was deported dose that cause him any damage?

I wouldnt think so it might slow down his security clearance if they share the same name. LOL you are worrying to much just take it easy and dont give the Embassy a bad taste because you really cant rush them. maybe Monday will bring us something to smile about

I think some are just tired of people calling. once i was told they had no info and i had to wait cuz AP could take years. so some are rude.

Yup i know i talked to on wensday and thursday i talked to three diffrent people on wenesday a VERY rude person who closed the phone on my face. then on thursday i spoke to a lady and the superviser they both said they could give me no Information. then friday i talked to someone who told me Its under AP the last date stamp was in APRIL but i forgot the date dumb me. and that its in AP beacouse the embassy is waitting on clearince from a US agancy. she also told me there no limit to when or how much i could call she said i can call back every day if i want. so i say screw the bad people. i think i need to remeber the name of the nice ones who tell us stuff and keep hanging up till we get them again lol.

Well...if we didn't call they wouldn't have a job. What else are they supposed to do??

And my husband was told the same thing on his interview everyhing is 100% and its just a ruten ting thats lets they said 2 weeks. and here i am 2 months latter from my interview.

No, no problem...sorry didn't mean to alarm you. I was just wondering. My fiance has been here and stayed here for 6 months and the first time he came he was also in AP but that took 3 days. So, I just wondered now if those who have been here before if their AP would take shorter/longer time.

Yes, I've been twice in the past year, both times on the Visa Waiver Programme. The first time I spent two weeks, the second time I was there for longer, but both times I left before the 3 months finished. I had no problems at the airport - in fact the second time I went was during the CR1 process and the guy at immigration even said 'I hope to see you coming back very soon as a permanent resident :) '
