Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone congratulating me earlier. Got a reply from USEM confirming that the AP is over and I can send my passport whenever convenient:

"Your case is ready to be processed and we want to paste the visa onto your passport as soon as we receive the passport from you. Also, your visa will be valid until 09-February-2010 therefore you may submit your passport anytime before 09-February 2010."

So, the visa was approved on 9th August. I will send the passport mid september when I am in Pakistan for Eid.

I wish you all good luck with your AP. It seems like Islamabad is clearing APs faster now (in 3 to 6 weeks).
