So my situation is this...its been 10 weeks since my NOA2 and the NVC still does not have the documents. No one seems to know anything, but i did speak to another VJ member who had the same NOA date as me and was in the same situation (NVC did not have documents), and I was informed to call the directors office. I called once and got hung up on (I didnt yell, scream or anything, i just said i got this number because USCIS had no idea where my case was, but the lady seemed to be in a bad mood or something and told me to find out who gave me this number and call her back...?)

My question is this, what should i tell them so they will actually help me? Im sure there are VJ members out there that had to deal with the directors office and had some success, so please give me some insight! Thanks a lot!

Demand resolution on your case, to which they'll prolly tell you to wait 30 days and call them back then.

Here is my story. I've lived problem free life, payed my taxes. One day I decided to marry this girl. But to do so would require her to come to US of A, and so it started. My problem free live turned in to free problems from USCIS! Sure things turned to unsure, certain dates turned to aproximation within months. All logical thinking was out the door, as I filed my papers withing famous Vermont Centre!

The same thing kinda happened to me. I received my noa 2 in June, then in Sept USCIS and NVC claimed not to have it. So I called USCIS and the very rude woman told me I had to file a form, can't remember which one, which would of cost me an additional $355! All due to their mistake. So I called The Department of State, they are much nicer there! The gentleman told me according to their computers the California Service Center never sent my K1 to NVC. So I called the USCIS once again, hoping I wouldn't get the same rude woman! Told the guy my problem, then told him what DOS told me, and I wouldn't send an additional $355 to them for losing my case! He must have felt bad for me, so he forwarded my call up to the next level. I told another guy the same story, and he told me he would get back to me in 7-10 days. So since then my case has been touched again and i got a second NOA2. I am pissed off that it took so long, and that my file was collecting dust on someones desk, but that's all behind me if the NVC actually receives it soon!
