Hello MrsRowe :D

I haven't seen a lot of people from Guyana around here but I am sure there are a few lurking about. You can search by country and find those members who are active. I do know that thndrdancr used to post here often and her husband was from Guyana. She joined us up in the Yardie thread. You are welcome to join us there as well. Definitely contact thndrdancr though, she is wonderful :D

Thank you. Been on VJ for a while and i have been in contact wth a couple. Just kind of hoping to draw them out. Kind of jealous of the other countries that have live banter going on. :)

The Guyanese just seem to be lurking in the back.

Come on out ladies and gentlemen. Let's share experiences. :innocent:

Mina just got through with her husband. I don't know of any Guyanese currently going through the process. I just got through, but I'm serving as the USC and my husband is actually from Ghana. Very few Guyanese on here. I'm not sure many even know it's here. :)

Hello Mrs. Rowe....I just found this site after a very discouraging phone call with NVC. My husband is from Guyana. I have been there three times and will be traveling to Trinidad in December to vacation with him. Nice to meet you. Lisa

Mrs.Rowe and Lisa,

Welcome to Visajourney. I do not know any Guyanese on this board, but that is not to say they do not exist. I have befriended and been befriended by many, many nationalities, but none of my own. So I latched on to the Yardie Addams family ( ) as my hubby is from Jamaica and the Yardie family has been really supportive since 2005.

I wish you two ladies speedy processes and quick reunions with your husbands.

Yes, thndancer is a wonderful Iowa gal, who is married to a Guyanese man and was really sweet to me when we joined visajourney. She may be very helpful as she knows the GT process first hand.

If you have any questions that I might help with, please feel free to PM me or email me.

All the best,

E
