Automated response message

So i call the NVC on Saturday 16th and on the automated response it said that our RFE was generated on the 15th of August. Then i called to listen to the messeage today and it now says the 16th.

I used James short cut for the RFE and i out the 15th for the date ( meant to be the date it was generated). I'm now doubting whether i miss heard the date and paniking that i put the wrong date on the cover sheet. Has anyone noticed that the date changes?

When that happens i just keep calling and hoping to get through to someone. At least i know now that i am not loosing my mind.

I have constant butterflies in my stomach.

I was hoping that it was a false RFE, due to the fact that they had'nt recieved my DS-230.

I just got through an operator and was told hat i need to send them ds230 part 1 again and my original birth certificate i doot what would i do because i already send them the certified copy of my original birth certified beacuase original is in foreign language

I'm not sure, but dont you have to send the orignal and also the translated certified copy?

On the ds-230 form, it asks you for where you have lived since you were 16. including your present address. On my present address i put the date i moved in on but left the "to" date blank, because i am still living there. I'm not sure if needed to just put a date, but on filling out other forms (not for visa) i normally put "to present"

lol ... u know what how it asks u ur adresses from this date to that or ur emplyement history from this date to that , for my present address that date on " from " column but left the "to" column blank , because it wasnot accepting the word " present" , i guess i was suppose to put the present date i am not sure eiethr what else to put there cause it wont take any thing other than a date.

Yeah, that was my problem. Then i was reading something on a post and the person got a RFE because of leaving it blank. I panicked and have got it re sent and will be there tomorrow before 12. i just hope it will fine. I think they need to make the whole process a little more flexible and silly mistakes more easily sorted.

Well when i spoke to the operator, she just told me to find any correspondance that they had sent that has a bar code on, so i found one with a small barcode next to my name and i have sent that.

I just hope it works.

We just sent off our RFE corrections for the I-864 yeasterday and we generated a barcode and cover letter from James short cuts. Again dont know if it will work.

we paid our billd online can we reprint that barcoded sheet and sent it with our documents ? and one more question , can i send these documents to nvc on behalf of my husband as I am the beneficiary , is this going to create any problem?

i asked the operator the same question about the online barcode thing. She said she didnt want to risk it and say yes, because the payment goes to a different place.

I'm not sure. I dont think it will be a problem. Do you mean you are the pertitioner?

Who is the assigned agent on the case?
