they can take xrays even if the person is a newborn. They just make the babies lie down instead of standing up cuz obviously, they can't yet. The PPD test will not be a reliable indicator for TB infection in kids esp if they had been given the BCG vaccine.

is it possible to have an x-ray shot for a 1 year and 4 months baby if his PPD skin test turns out positive? how will they do xray shot for a 1 year and 4 months old?

Yeah, they can do xrays on patients of all ages. They will get a supine film of your baby's chest/lungs. PPD is not a confirmatory test for primary pulmonary Tb as well as the chest xray. Your baby needs to satisfy a criteria before he/she can be labeled as a Tb disease.

The criteria include signs and symptoms and few age related laboatories such as chest xray and PPD skin tests.
