I am totally confused about this DV (document verification), why pay it at the METROBANK if it can be paid at the DELLBROS booth in cash?

Is that a booth inside the US embassy?

Can it be paid the same day of the interview?

Why add another 3 steps...Pay at METROBANK then sending SMS then wait for response.....anytime we add a layer unnecessary complexity where things can go wrong.

I apologize, but am just trying to understand the process....and make some some out of it.

I wish it all have included in the I-129F fee...included the Medical and shots..

or have Web site at the embassy where all this can be paid via WEB by the person requesting the I-129f...not the beneficiary,

But that would it too much common sense....

yes, inside the USEM but the booth is actually for the visa delivery payment..

however if you dint pay DV at metrobank..

they'll just ask you to pay DV at the booth inside the embassy..

the reason why they want you to pay DV at metrobank before the interview is to avoid delays..

since so many people are goin through DV process, delays cannot be avoided..

however,i agree.. i think it shouldnt be our problem if they're having delays.. IMO!

i mean we did things as where told and paid whatever it is that needs to paid so they gotta do their job well..

Thank you so much for explaining it...was getting confused a little...

and I agree with you 100 percent, it should not be our problem if they are having delays.

There is a lot of peoples not employed, they can surely hire few more peoples to get thru the backlog.

It just make sense for document verification being able to pay it on-line to DelBROS...once you have MNL########

It just make sense for Medical and shots being able to pay it on-line to STLUKE...once you have MNL#######

If they want to charge me extra for paying on line...usually most places charge 3% more...that is fine, that is a luxury some people are willing to pay.

If not willing to pay extra...can always pay cash...the usual way.

We are in the computers age and we still shuffling papers around......just my 2 cents....

Hi every one I met a girl from Davao (who is not a member of VJ) when I had my medical last week. She had her interview today and she got pink slip even without paying doc verification. She asked them if it's okay not to pay it and they said yes. Maybe because she is only 24 y/o. Well I guess the document verification is a case to case basis and maybe it does not apply to persons who are 24 y/o and below or maybe it also depends on the discretion of the CO.

I know a few people too who did not even pay DV and got pink slip only.

cheap or not we still paid for it and they should be RESPONSIBLE enough to do what they have to do. AT THE RIGHT TIME!!!! - kaya nga may bayad! its not asking them to do a favor for us...hhaay nako..bakit ba pag related sa DV nakaka pang usok ng tenga... im hoping il get a pink slip on my interview next week..we ll actually hoping should not be the term..I AM EXPECTING

hi shes pareho pala tau ng interview date. anyway i asked her again if she was asked to pay P650 at delbros and sabi nya hindi daw. she is so lucky. i hope i will get pink slip too next week pero if not ok lang din basta dumating lang yung visa ko before matapos ang september. delbros texted me that they sent my docs to nso on aug 12. i hope it will be there before the 28th. God bless sa atin.

I can't help but feel "inggit" dun sa kanya kase she doesn't have to go through this DV thing. I was on the phone with PJ of NSO earlier asking him about the status of my case. They have indeed received the request last Aug 12 but it's not yet being process and it may take 2-3 weeks because my name is common. I was surprised when he said that because as far as I know I am the only person who has this name in PI. Even if my first name is common my last name and middle name aren't. Now I'm getting frustrated again. All I can do now is pray that my interview will go well and that even if supposing I get white slip it won't take that long to process my visa. Some people are so lucky...
