I am happy for you but it seems like all of the cases approved lately at VSC have been expedites, have they approved any non-expedited CR-1s in the last few weeks??

I am very cynical at this point - I think the transferred cases have given VSC an excuse to slack off some more and we Jan-Feb standalone I-130 filers, unless expedited, are going to have to wait another 2-4 months at which point we will be as far behind as the ones just transferred to CSC, then maybe they will transfer us....

Maybe they should shut down VSC or have it only process citizenship/work visas and have all spouse visas handled at CSC, then we won't see this gross disparity in processing times.

04/25/2008: I-130 APPROVED.

06/04/2008: Came to know about Visa Journey.com.

07/02/2008: CASE COMPLETED.

07/14/2008: Case transferred to Mumbai.

08/27/2008: Interview - Visa Approved

09/03/2008: POE-Chicago

09/04/2008: Applied for SSN

09/11/2008: Received SSN

10/27/2008: Received "Welcome Letter"
