UPDATE FOR CASES COMPLETED IN AUGUST

I am getting a lil frustrated, It has been almost a week and still no interview date!!!

We already gave up for a September interview. Have you tried to call the NVC and ask them when is the cutoff date for scheduling at your embassy? Ours (Cairo) was yesterday and told us we didn't get in.

No I didn't ask them but they told me that I was too late for it. I will try to call them so that I can estimate the interview date for October.

Well let's see what happen today, I am gonna call the embassy to try to get my case forward... I remember that when I went with my husband for the tourist visa we ask them if we could have our interview next day and they say yes!!!

I am gonna cross my fingers.... I really want to be with my hubby, this month that I haven't seen him has been soooooooooooo hard, I don't think that I can take another month like this!!!!

Called the embassy!!!... They can't schedule the Interview!!! We have to wait for the NVC to do it....

I called the NVC 4 times today and got the same information regarding scheduling for September. The last time I called I spoke to a rep that gave me more info than I asked. She said that today was their deadline for interview appointments for the month of September and she has not received the final paper or document from their supervisor regarding all the cases scheduled for September she said maybe by tomorrow they will receive the final document. She told me to check the automated system tomorrow for an update. I am really hoping to have an interview date soon

they actually told you about the deadline? you must be paranoid as I since you have called them 4 times today. I dont call them often b/c i dont want them to mark me down for calling too much..I dont want to look shady/

They don't mind if you call them a lot of times. That is why they are there. No marks or whatever is put on any case. I don't understand how someone can be shady by calling. When you call them they give more info than what is on the AVR. You can learn a lot when you call them. Obviously, since you don't call, your not informed like the rest of us.

Hi everyone.

My husband and I can now join this thread with the rest of you, anxiously awaiting the interview date! Yes emotions are high (the highs are high--like case complete moments--and the lows are low--how much longer?!?!). I'm sure we all understand that part of this process.

There's been lots of chatter about interview dates...how do you know the Russian Embassy is scheduled up to Oct. 19th?

Or better yet, how do the rest of us find out case-load of our respective embassy?

Can you please tell me how do you know that Moscow embassy is scheduled up to Oct 19th? I followed their online schedule for a few months, and it looks like they loosely schedule first, then later they pack more interviews on same dates. So it is confusing a bit, to try guess what will be the date.

My case was also completed in August and I'm waiting for an interview... The Dominican Embassy is taking around 4 months to schedule interviews right now! People with their cases completed in June still dont have an interview date . That would mean I'm probably looking at December.... so I wrote my Senator to see if maybe he can help me get an earlier date (like a cancellation or something). Hopefully that will work... who knows though
