EAD status after RFE

Hi,

I was sent an RFE for not sending in some supplemental tax info for my I864 form on my original 485 app. I sent it in and now we're waiting for the EAD document to come through. I'm wondering how long we might have to wait - my husband is pretty anxious to work. Could people who have gone through this recently give me an idea of how long it took you?

I assumed it would be within a month because he had already had his fingerprints taken way before they even sent us the RFE. A month hasn't passed yet but we'd still like to get an idea of what other people's experiences have been.

Your case processing stopped when the RFE was issued. Usually once you sent it back in it resumes automatically. Might take 1-3 months after the RFE (or so they say).

Hi all,

I'm still looking for replies from people who have gone through this particular bump in the road recently. It would be really helpful to know if the wait could be up 2 months (which is the limit they state in their policy).

There is really no timeframe for them to process an RFE. Some people here get it back up and running in 2 to 3 weeks while others 2 to 3 months.
