Hi all -

I have not received my NOA2 yet. However, I understand that I will need to send my wife bank statement and employment verification as part of many documents. Is it OK to start collecting these documents before the actual NOA2 date? The reason why I ask is that if employment verification is dated 08/01 and if approval is received on 09/01, what is the proof for officers that I am still employed? Do you all believe that it is safer to wait till NOA2 for collecting these sort of documents?

Also, is it OK to have the letter written for general recipient (i.e. not have consulate name and address in the letter)?

Thanks.

My letter of employment verification was addressed to "Whom it May Concern" and it was accepted with no problems. You should be fine with a letter dated 08/01.

Good Luck!

thanks reallyfrustrated.

I also want to check with others if they had documents ready before the actual NOA2 date? If so, please let me know. The documents that I am referring to are I-134, Employment Letter, Bank Letter. My income is well over the 125% of poverty line.

Can I have my I-134 notarize before NOA2 date or should I wait till I get the approval?

Thank you.
