The newborns, four boys and three girls, weigh between 3.2 pounds and 6.17 pounds and are in stable condition, Darwish said. They have been placed in incubators in four hospitals that have special premature baby units, he said.

Woah! Those are amazing birth weights for triplets, let alone septuplets!

EDIT: The BBC gives different birth weights:

The newborns, who weighed between 2.3lb and 4lb (1.5kg and 2kg), were delivered by Caesarean section on Saturday in a hospital in Alexandria.

Still, it's amazing that all babies are healthy.

wow...

Just one thing, and I don't mean to start any kind of debate with the religious people here, and I respect everybody's religion. But considering the fact that she took hormones, I have a hard time believing this is "God's will". This is messing up with nature IMO. Humans are not like dogs or cats to have multiple eggs like this. Maybe 2 or 3...but not seven.

But humans are the ones who thought up the hormone supplements and fertility drugs and God did give them the brain capacity to do that, so how is it not God's will? There are thousands if not hudreds of thousands of women who take fertility drugs every day and they still don't get pregnant. In the end I think it is God's will but I want to know as a farmer how they could afford the fertility drugs.

Everyone has their own version of a god anyways. If your deity created everything in the world, then how can it be used in the wrong fashion, unless they screwed up?

The only way this can be a bad thing if it completely screws up the lives of the kids.
