USCIS never sent me e-mail...

Hi everyone. This question may be kind of dum...

I set up USCSI online status checking. I set up e-mail address, clicked Y to active e-mail.

But I've never recieved any e-mail yet although my status was changed 2 times already

for "touch".

Has anyone had this kind of experience?

Getting touched does not change Your status of the case hence no email. When the status changes You will receive sometimes 6 emails at the same time saying the same thing.

Yeppers, I got 6 emails from them the other day telling me they sent out and RFE. Unfortunately they were late on updating my case as I had already received my RFE in the mail!!!

Don't rely on the online status to indicate accurately. It seems lately they've been pretty inaccurate as other posters will tell you.

The dates on our cases changed 2 times and we never received an email. Then yesterday one of the cases date changed and we received an email so be patient you will eventually get an email.

I went to an infopass appointment regarding my EAD earlier this week. They said they already approved my EAD somewhere, so I was unable to receive it the same day but had to wait for it to arrive by regular mail. So, I am still waiting, while my case status online does not show anything other than "touched". And certainly there were no e-mails.
