Hello

yesterday my husband called me to announce me that we received I-129F's NOA1 :dance:

My love will be here in Morocco in 3 weeks  he'll stay for 6 weeks (till mid july)

what is next now?... waiting the NOA2, am I right??

but, so as to save time, what papers should he prepare & bring with him to Morocco?

an other general question :

After receiving the NOA1s of both I-130 & I-129F, is there still a possibility that the USCIS may send us a RFE?? (wish not especially that my husband will be outside the US for 6 weeks)

thank you in advance for your help and suggestions

the NOA1 is just a notice that they have received your forms, no one has actually lookd at them or done anything with them yet. So yes, it is possible that if you missed something in your packages that they could send and RFE.

I can't think of anything that he'd need to do while in Morocco because it'll still be quite a while before you get any approvals (NOA2) to move ahead with.

He could maybe get an employment letter to go along with the affidavit of support that you'll need for your interview, but they usually like that to be dated a little closer to the interview. You're still a long way off from that.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

It takes a while b4 the whole case is fowarded to the Consulate because it goes to the NVC first. be careful though: theres still a possibility that you'll get a RFE.

Good Luck
