Good Morning all.

It's Monday indeed but I don't mind much since my entire dept. is out on vacation so I'm all by myself. The weekend was great but passed a little too fast. My meet up with Noura was great, tad too short but I had a blast - she is an amazing woman...

Wishing everyone a great week ahead with plenty of good news - both on visas as well as babies...

I'm back! I had a wonderful meeting w/ D and as she said, *it was too short*! I think she's a pretty amazing woman and a lovely lady as well. We must definitely get together again.

Mom & I had a grueling trip on the way (mechanical problems delayed our flight over 4 hrs- got in at 1:30am instead of 9:30 pm), but my sister's 50th bday party was so much fun and she was really happy we were there. Our flight home was smooth and uneventful (Alhamdulillah) but I've been up since 3am and it's nap:30.

Nawal, got ur msg, but the cell reception @ my sis's house is horrible. I sent you a text back. Sorry to hear about the creepy scorpion and I hope you're making it through the day alright even though you are missing those babies.

HUGS!! Welcome back! I'm so glad you had a blast!! Wish we could have coordinated our trip to NY with your trip!! That would have ROCKED! Thats okay about the reception but I do expect a call after you get some NAP time in. Hazem and I are dying to chat with ya!! I didn't get a text? So strange..I hate tmobile! GRRR :angry:

I'm doing fine...I have called home 5 times going on 6 now... :blush:

I will be with you when classes start back, , I have three classes and two big internships that I have to finish and the Doctor in charge is Dr. Scott, her and I see things very differently, so I am not looking forward to even seeing her. I have to get my courage up and write her today on my internship, I would rather put daggers in my eyes than write her. Of course I will have to kiss her ### and play nice, just hope I don't end up in some awful place, but she is the one that will decided where I will do my internship, she lets you think you have a choice, but she will have the final word. OMG, why why, before I took my break she had gotten into local politics, I was so praying that she would be too busy with her new hobby that she would be too busy to be head of the internships, WRONG, so now I have to suck it up big time and write some kind of ####### that sounds professional, while trying to be very kind and sweet. Oh well I will do this and pray I end up with a good placement.

Oh Wow! Good luck with that and let us know how it goes for ya.

I went shopping with my BF and she helped me pick out the most fabulous dress for my Party! :dance: I put it on hold to think about it and I will go back tomorrow morning when I have decided. We shopped all over the mall! I also ran into a cousin who I haven't seen in forever. :blush:

I admire you Olivia!! That is the type of shopping behavior that I need to have more often - I'm such an impulse buyer and too many items get disregarded later and are not even used.... I need to pick up your good habits!!!! (and save some $$ in the process ) :lol:

I went shopping with my BF and she helped me pick out the most fabulous dress for my Party! :dance: I put it on hold to think about it and I will go back tomorrow morning when I have decided. We shopped all over the mall! I also ran into a cousin who I haven't seen in forever. :blush:

Really? :( That's what I've been giving him :blush: because he just wouldn't eat.. I asked the vet and he said it's not preferable (though he didn't go into detail) but said at this point anything he will eat is okay - I never thought of that though.. Thank you for the tip!!! I'm going to try that tonight when I get home!! I also bought some wet canned food, just wasn't sure if he was "ready" for it.. I feel bad.. I had no idea that he had been taken away from his mother that early although having already bought him, there isn't too much I can do but try to get him eating and healthy!! Sounds like your sister knows her stuff! Thanks Kel!

ash...I would take the kitty food and put warm water over it...let it soak into the pieces to make them soft...did you get pets milk from the pet store? I know cows milk is not good for cats (or thats what my zoology major sister says)

i havent read all post and u may already know but at walmart grocery you can get a container of kitten or puppy formula and even a little bottle if they arent eating good

Nawal- i can imagine how much u miss ur babies !! awwww insha Allah it will be easier by time :D n so sorry about the scorpions!! i wd soooo not get in the house again lol ... my husband gets spiders in his old apartment n he was so easy about it :dead: he is getting a new apartment i hope he doesnt have any there :unsure:
