Guys,

Just an observation, but it seems that the majority of those being interviewed for a K1 or K3 Visa are Filipinas.

Aside from me, are there other Filipinos here on VisaJourney going for their medical & interview? In our case, my Fiancee is the U.S. Citizen and am the Filipino:)

Yes, The US embassy in the Philippines is the busiest US embassy in the world and most of what they process are for K1s. Someone posted a number and I "think" in 2007, the manila embassy issued close to 10,000 K1 visas.

Yup, the U.S. Manila Embassy is one of the busiest and it certainly doesn't help that the Philippines is considered a "high fraud" state.

But to clarify my question, I wanted to ask with respect to the U.S. Embassy here in Manila.

I just noticed that majority of those going for their medical & interview are Filipinas based on the posts here. Meaning that a majority of Filipinos seeking K1/K3 Visas (Beneficiaries) here at the U.S. Embassy in Manila are girls with their U.S. Citizen Fiances (Petitioners) being the guys.

I'm just trying to find out who is in the same boat as me, with me (beneficiary) being the guy and the U.S. Citizen (Petitioner) being the girl. I hope I'm not the only one:)

I'd have to agree with NoelandTintin most beneficiaries from the Philippines are female.

In my case my husband was the beneficiary like the OP but we didn't go through USEM.

Good luck with your wedding :)
