Why is VSC so slow?

Good Day All!

I have been looking at the site and noticed that Vermont Servicing Center has been slowing down. Just last month it was taking about 90 to 96 days to process a K1 Visa. Now it is taking 100 to 108 days to process a K1 Visa. Does anyone know why things are moving so slow? For Troy and I it has been 87 days since we received our NOA 1, and 97 days since we have filed our case. We just want a perspective as to what is going on at the Vermont Servicing Office.

Take Care

Alicia

Who knows?

2 and 3 years ago VSC was knocking out K1s in a month or so. Everyone was trying to figure out a way to file there.

Overall K3s were way faster than CRs then also. Not the case anymore. Guess they move the work loads around.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Because other things, such as the naturalization applications for one, have recently taken priority. And VSC has taken on caseloads from TSC as well.

One of the things you will soon see here on VJ is that in 6 months, people will be cranking about how slow CSC is and how fast VSC is.

So true, it's a pattern.

One thing I want to know... when it speeds up, does that mean they'll be approving the new filers in less than 3 months, or working on the ones that are still waiting due to the slow-down? I know they're supposed to work in a rough order but obviously that's not always the case.
