Have my CR-1 interview next week - do you advise I tick the box that allows them to get a scoial security number for me or is it quicker to obtain one myself??

I ticked the box..........................cos if it doesnt come after 3 weeks you can still trot off down to the SS office & get one, md told me

Just tick on it, if you don't get it in 3 weeks, you can go to SS office and get one.
