Any sites you can recommend for a one-way ticket? I am looking at early November for the flight....flexible as to what day.

I found one-way tickets for over $900.00, but very long layover (21 hours).

I found round trip for $1277, with a 10 hour lay over in O'hare.

Actually, I have found round trip is NOT cheaper, but it isn't much more. Also, the BEST place to fly from in Ukraine is Kiev, hands down. My fiancee will take a train from Donetsk to Kiev and fly from there. Flying to anywhere else in Ukraine gets REAL expensive REAL fast and often rewuires an overnight layover somewhere. Better to spend the night on the train than a chair at the airport. Whenever I fly to Donetsk it adds 300-400 to the cost and I invariably spend the night in the Kiev or Munich airport (if you have to sleep in an airport, I can recommend Munich) I have tickets, Kiev to NYC for September for my fiancee and her son for $700 each one way. The best round trip was about $835. The train to Kiev from Donetsk (2nd class) is $40, from Lviv it is probably a little less, maybe $30 or so. Best to travel by 2nd class on the train. 3rd class is pretty grim and 1st class is very expensive and not that much better than 2nd class.

There is a new airline with pretty good prices for flying around ukraine (www.wizzair.com). Like Lviv-Kiev one way fare is only 48 UAH for some dates (or a little over $10). However, be sure to read all of their restrictions. The thing is, they offer such cheap tickets mainly because of very limited luggage allowance. You have to pay around $15 for each checked in piece of luggage.

You should be able to fly Lviv-Warsaw-Newark-Atlanta without a layover on LOT or Lviv-Kiev-JFK-Atlanta on Delta (from Kiev)
