What do they verified do on the Documents Verification. How the process go...Delbros -> USEM ->NSO -> Delbros -> USEM ?

Once you paid for DV, delbros will send a Document Verification form to NSO. The documents being verified could be Birth Cert,CENOMAR, Death Certificate, Marriage Cert, certificates that NSO issues. It's just like double checking since nowadays, they are those people produce fake certificates. Goodluck. :)

Pls check this for a detailed step by step document verification guide and Q&A :http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...t&p=1852104

they could be checking all those documents that egwgew mentioned BUT the ONLY document verification result that NSO transmits to USEM is your CENOMAR. USEM wants to verify that you are really single or in the case of those who are already married to their petitioner, that they are indeed legally married to the petitioner and not to any other guy.

There has been numerous cases in the past where a visa applicant was still legally married to someone else while applying for a fiancee visa or have been in a fraudulent marriage to their petitioner. USEM wants to weed out such cases now.

It is because they don't trust the authentecity of the CENOMAR obtained by the applicants n their own, they always say: "WE NEED TO DO OWN VERIFICATION". CENOMAR is NOT listed as requirement in the newly revised packet4 and bringing/submitting one is just futile and sometimes even just create confusion and make the review of the documents longer.

Actually, we can't blame the embassy coz there had been cases before of people submitting fake documents. The US embassy is actually just trying to protect its citizens (the USC petitioners) more than anybody else. It is just that the their DV system needs to be improved.
