A couple of pictures I took from my apartment window this weekend of the Chicago Air & Water Show. I'm glad I can see this from the comfort of my living room without having to brave the million-plus crowds! :thumbs:

Wow even better pictures i bet they rumbled your apartment when they flew over like the F-18 did to my place and the huge C-17. I watched the blue angels do practice run last year in SF hope i can watch them again this year.

Wow even better pictures i bet they rumbled your apartment when they flew over like the F-18 did to my place and the huge C-17. I watched the blue angels do practice run last year in SF hope i can watch them again this year.

hehe... I LOVE the loudness and the rumbles...LOL It's great when they go over and then you hear half a dozen car alarms kick off too...LOL

It IS hard to get good pictures...they just won't slow down for a good shot!

WOW!!! We had the Blue Angels one year and the year after that the Thunderbirds!!! And that was about 16 years ago. Since then we haven't had an air show here. BUMMER! :blink:

07/21/11 filed AOS off tourist visa

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(
