How long does it take for USCIS (Vermont) to respond to my withdrawal letter for I-130? Do they even respond at all?

I recently sent a letter withdrawing I-130 via certified mail, but I have yet to receive a response or any status update online. I am just getting anxious.

Also, is it possible to change beneficiary's address on I-130 while my withdrawal letter is being "processed"? Would that cause any complications? This would be precautionary measure just incase they don't process my I-130 withdrawal in time, and it gets approved for some reason. I do not want any piece of paper regarding this filie to reach my "spouse" as I think (more like know) my "spouse" may try to use fake I-864 to complete this file (I didn't see any place on I-864 for notary- Does it not require notary? I was suprised).

Thanks

TooK CSC about 6 months to respond to my withdrawal letter. Better to do Infopass if you are in a hurry.

I-864 no need to be notarized anymore.

Seems to me it would be very difficult for a beneficiary to get away with doing all the necessary submissions to NVC and pull off passing the embassy interview without the petitioner.

Your spouse will get the DS 3032 [Choice of agent] tho and can put their name and all the paperwork would go to them. Changing their address may stop such from happening.

Sounds like you guys have hit a "bump" in the road with your relationship!! :help:

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Yeah, BIG BUMP. Read my other thread (check my profile).

Anyways, 6 MONTHS?? Thats rediculous. I will definitely call them on monday to change beneficiary address, just in case. I just don't want to take any chances. I am suprised that I-864 does not require to be notarized. It is such an important document. It is wierd that I-134 requires to be notarized but not I-864.

Infopass at local USCIS office would be ok? What you guys think? I have to look into how I go about getting infopass. I thought it had to be vermont center because file is located there.
