DS 3032 form question

hi guys. i am about to fill out DS 3032 form for my wife who is in India. i want to ask, would she put my name as the agent? i have hired a lawyer here in US to fill out paper work and forms, but she hasn't hired one in india. so does she put my name as the Agent? please someone help me? and she signs the DS 3032 form and then mails it to me, right?

Case Completed Oct. 22nd, 2008

Wife's Interview Date: Dec. 3rd, 2008

Wife Here In US on Dec. 13th 2008

i think ur lawyer automatically becomes the agent...

just curious, why r u even worrying about filling ds 3032 urself...get on ur attorney's butt to get this done for u...u r paying him/her.

The agent is the person who will deal with NVC (turn in I-864, turn in DS-230, and make payments).

If you've hired a lawyer, then he's working on the case for both of you.

If you trust your lawyer to stay on top of the case, then he should be chosen as the agent.

Yes, your wife (the beneficiary) is now the applicant, as far as the NVC is concerned, and should sign the DS 3032.

She can also send an e-mail (see the VJ Wiki for the address) but it looks like express mail of DS 3032 is getting into

the system faster than the e-mail.
