Please help me about this form, I'm applying the CR1 in China.

:crying::whistle::wacko:

1. we need to send the original thing? Do u return the original things back later? Notarial certificate of birth means just the birth, or the birth report.

2. Notarial certificate of marriage or marriage certificate?

3. can’t find the Notarial certificate of marriage certificate, do u take it already.

4. in the second page, request for the i-130 evidence, we need to send all the things by mail? Like all the photos? How heavy it is! Statement, financial record? So if we send all this things, does it mean we don’t need aninterview?

5. im a student, can I use my mom’s as an sponsorship?

6. we live with family, how can we have bills? They pay for it, but we do have the record of registering living in the same house.

7. form no.? yellow highlighted? A-Number should be printed in the back of photo?

8. why our process is so different to what I heard from other people or the cases in the internet?

You will be well served by reading the instructions that come with the forms, as well as the guides here.

1. Send photocopies of supporting documents. Retain the originals.

2. 3. Notarial Birth and Marriage certificates are obtained through the Gong Zheng Chu (local Notarial Office). If you married in China, take your red books down to the Gong Zheng Chu to be translated. While there ask them about the birth certificate.

4. In the section that says one or more, send one or more if you have them. If not, don't. That you live together in China will be sufficient.

5. Yes

6. See 4.

7. If no A number, print the name.

8. See the DCF, (Direct Consular Filing) guide. Processes vary.

Send a few actual photos of the two of you together. They should be in multiple places with multiple family members, if possible.

You can also email the IV unit through the website for clarification of any request.

Sorry, but what is IV unit?

IV = Immigrant Visa. See the Immigration Dictionary of the main forums page.

thanks! !

we will keep trying. but before, we used the form to send em, and even paid the phone to call them, they either said they didnt know or didnt reply at all!!!! anyway, worthy trying...

Calling the phone number is definitely a waste. You take your chances with email but usually you'll do ok. Your case is actually still in the USCIS office, not with the IV unit yet, so they actually may not be in a position to help you. Is there email on the USCIS end you DCF filers can use?
