Ok...that's fine...you think your squad played impressively...ok then. Low expectations let you be surprised every time.

When did you hear me say that we played impressively? Because I said we didn't at all... We played like #######. All I said is that we yet have to find an opponent who can actually score a goal against us and that it must mean something. Once again, if you dominate but don't score then you DO NOT win, that is soccer as cruel as it can be. I have seen other teams in this tournament win games they DID NOT dominate. Goals count. I admit it was lucky to get a call at stoppage time and I already complimented you for the team...but Italians in here get nothing but hate... :crying::crying::crying:

Where is the love? :P

I have your love right here: (L):luv:

GO.....whoever is playing next!!

Trinidad and Tobago... *runs* LOL

high fives frances and *runs* even faster

I think it'd be pretty rare that a team would lose the support of their country, no matter how cheap their tactics were.

yeah...everyone wants to be a winner.. I think it's very possible to lose repsect though for an individual player, especially when they act like a$$es off the field.

Wow, it's getting nasty in here. That's too bad.

Since being a long time England supporter I have learned to get over my disappointments quickly ;)

awww, bless the English fans of all their sports.... hehehe... and another Wimbledon started... Henman anyone?:lol:

Ya know I wanted to mention Wimbledon, but I have cramps and can't run fast.

As for the seasoned Mssr. Hennmann, I don't know. I like his pointy teeth and the fact that he always gives it his all. I always root for him if he is not playing against Agassi. Now that favorite Gustavo Kuerten is not playing, I can root for Tim!!

OH and I missed the fact that you were making fun of my lovely twin islands Trinidad and Tobago!!

I take back my high five, you!! :protest:

Now the Italia haters are going to start I know that, I see it coming... :P

We might not have played great but we are still the ONE team NO ONE scored against so far! And that means something! We held the game against people who deal with the heat much better than us, they don't come from months of "war" in Serie A+International cups for most of the players on the national team so they are much "fresher", then again in the first half we almost scored more than one time. Then again the whole second half we were down one man, A DEFENDER!

And the call wasn't a ####### call...the defender just fell for our guy's game and committed a debutant's foul. You can dominate, but if you don't score you don't win.

I still think though that this Australian team with more experience and practice can go very far in the future, so sincere compliments! (F)

And....

ITALIA advances!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance::dance:

:yes: ... And who remember last WC when Korean beat us?! that wasn't fair either!

I agree with the rankings #######!!! I wasn't the one to bring them up!!!! :crying::crying::crying::crying:

And karo...everyone is happy for their team to win, no matter how it happens. Besides I still don't think it was a ####### call.

It was a ####### call... faking being hurt... diving just to get a penalty... there was no other way they could have won it... the Socceroos were simply too good... so what did the Italians do??? Dive over a body and ensure the stupid referrreee (who should be shot) gave them a penalty... sooooooooooooooooo be proud... yeah what a way to win!!! If Beckham and co. had done it I would not have said it is ok... it would have disgusted me... but hey!!! This is Italy where the Italian referree is part of a match-fixing scandal!!! Says a lot... or at least it should!!! :innocent:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

After yesterday's POR-NED fiasco, the Cup sure got a bad name. That game was CRAZY. Officials, players, everything.

I'm pulling for Ghana to win, god, how amazing would that be....

Anyhoo, I'm all about England!

POR-NED fiasco... LOL  "Some" JV peeps, not mentioning any names would run with THAT.... see the Overracting thread (AKA - porn thread)

GO GHANA!

Wimbledon has made it rain!

Isn't that law?
