England are a team of potentially world beaters but all to often they mouth off about what their going to achieve and achieve f-all :P

Holland will win with Brasil in 2nd spot

This is an amazing prediction; I love it! Go, Netherlands!

I'm about to watch Germany vs. Japan. My bet: Japan will win... :P

I will prob go for England as the players are more familar.

They have the most talented bunch of players in the world but swen hasnt a clue when it comes to tactics.

If i was manager of england i would play

Robinson

Cole Terry Ferdinand Neville

Beckam Carrick Lampard Cole/Downing

Gerrard

Owen

Then again the team formation changes if rooney is fit enough to play.If he is england have a chance. The most sucessfull teams play with a holding midfield to guard the defence.

The US will be lucky to get to the second round.AS much as i like the team their defence will let them down. They dont have the power and pace to beat the excellent italians. The czech rep may be an ageing team but they have alot more skillfull players than the US. The US are a team on the up but group E is too tough a chalange.

They are fifth in the world because they have beaten ####### teams from the carribean etc. I cant talk as my own team rep of ireland are a shambles at the moment.

My tips would be brazil, Italy or England depending if they can get the best out of gerrard, lampard, owen and rooney.

All the games are on espn or espn 2 and will start at 9am, 12 or 2 pm EST.

Go England, Germany, and France.

Brasil wins too often, and I will never cheer for the Netherlands as long as Van Nistelrooy is there

What's the deal with van Nistelrooy??

well he dives better than greg lougainis. he gets away with a ton of offside calls. and lets not forget he plays for Man U.

:whistle::whistle: My son lovedddd watching Ruud with Man U...his fave player...

Ohhhhhhhhhh I hope Rooney gets to play...that'll be SO great! :) M.

PS and for next season..GO MAN U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;):) :) :)

Go England go :luv:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009
