The Czechs are awesome...

edit: The US is playing well, but the Czech goalie is too good today. But there's still two games to play...

I think the US is playing well below their capabilities. Not combining too well and rarely a shot on goal.

I hope they can regroup for the game against Italy.

It was meant as light ribbing! Anyways, if I hadn't said it the brazilians would have, probably usually glittery colored letters, animated gifs and pictures of women in bikinis (or ronaldhino, if we are really unlucky)

We'll talk about that tomorrow. I've seen Brazil play worse games than what we saw from the US today.

I thought the Ozzies were fantastic... but it does not surprise me... any team sport they take up is one they excel in. I could not watch the USA match thanks to the bloody service we have... like I said if someone was missing out on dancing strumpets jiggling their tits it would have been fixed... or cricket... but not for something like football or tennis or the olympics...

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

ROME, June 12 (Reuters) - The Italian prosecutor leading a court case against Brazil's World Cup captain Cafu on charges of falsely obtaining an Italian passport called on Monday for a 10-month prison sentence if he is found guilty.

The prosecutor also sought prison sentences for several other people involved in the case, including Cafu's wife, the former president of AS Roma Franco Sensi and another former Roma player Gustavo Bartelt.

The verdict could come as soon as Tuesday, but even if found guilty, 36-year-old Cafu is unlikely to face jail, as under Italian law people with no former convictions usually have prison terms of less than two years suspended.

The case dates back to 2001 when 11 players in Italy were handed bans of up to a year after they were found to have obtained Italian passports with false documentation.

Gaining dual citizenship allowed the players to avoid being counted among the restricted number of 'non-EU' players allowed at each club.

Cafu, who captained Brazil to victory in the 2002 World Cup, hopes to repeat the feat at the finals in Germany. Brazil's first game is against Croatia on Tuesday.

just what brazil needs, a distracted captain. thanks italy!
