God save our gracious Queen,

Long live our noble Queen,

God save the Queen:

Send her victorious,

Happy and glorious,

Long to reign over us:

God save the Queen.

O Lord our God arise,

Scatter her enemies,

And make them fall:

Confound their politics,

Frustrate their knavish tricks,

On Thee our hopes we fix:

God save us all.

Thy choicest gifts in store

On her be pleased to pour;

Long may she reign:

May she defend our laws,

And ever give us cause

To sing with heart and voice

God save the Queen

Woohoo Germany...where's Fisch

I was too busy making up for lost work time. Watching as many games as possible doesn't quite agree with my deadlines. ;)

The game almost killed me. Argentina's goal was a nice one, but it didn't help calm my nerves. Overtime didn't help either. And the shootout... When you actually saw Jens Lehmann catch two penalty kicks, you could only wonder why ESPN-commentators continue to claim he is a worse goalie than Kahn. That man has nerves like steel. Another complaint about the German team's coverage on ESPN is their focus on Ballack. Great player, don't get me wrong, but not the best at the moment. Philip Lahm (the short defender) played the most amazing game and should have been man of the match (Lehmann would have been the other choice). Nuff rambling.

Good luck to England!!! The game has already started, but I need to work today and can't watch it.

I'm sure Brazil will win too and I wish the Brazilian fans good luck. Personally, I'm rooting for France of course. Sorry... :P

PUH-lease! He was TOTALLY faking that he got kicked here. He may have got a little bit of studs in his thigh, but he shouldn't have been wrapping his leg around him.

Ugh.

Agreed. But maybe if Rooney would've kept a little cooler head, he wouldn't have gotten carded. The ref did wait quite a while before pulling it out.

Portugal has been playing pretty rough. Last game they cleared the benches and it almost looked like an American baseball game!
