Anyone else out there getting excited about the upcoming soccer World Cup, not long to go now. My mum bought me an official England World Cup cap when she arrived.

Who is everyone supporting?

When it kicks off :lol: we must get a World Cup thread going for comments etc :thumbs:

England but of course... we have the best chance ever of winning the cup (provided Wayne Rooney plays) :luv:

Paul and I met on the Bazaar on the 14th January (he joined my progressive rock forum that day)

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...

Arrived in Houston on October 29th 2006

Married 17th November 2006

Lost my father 8th January 2007 (all dates are a blur after this)

Conditional Green Card dated 24th October 2007

I-751 posted on 6th August 2009

Received on 7th August 2009 in VT

I won't root for Brazil unless there is no chance for England.... and even if there is no chance I won't root for Brazil if my charming Brazilian sis-in-law is at her normal self ... if she behaves ok then I will... but if she don't well I hope what happens in France is repeated... then France scored 3 goals and I did not see her face for 3 days :lol::lol::lol::lol: (I was more pro-Brazil before my brother married her since I have so many Brazilian friends) :devil:

England England all the way... yeahhhhhhhhhhh we are gonna lift that cup... remember Brazil may be good but it has lost before and can lose again :lol:

I know I am mean but that sis-in-law of mine is unlike any Brazilian I have met in my life ... and Petit scoring the third goal was a delicious moment filled with utter pleasure :devil: (I have loads of Brazilian friends long before my brother ever married this cold, unpleasant and status-conscious woman; she believes that anyone who is not wealthy or highly educated does not deserve to be treated as a human being... her family is from Sao Paolo and is very wealthy)
